Custom-Only Rivals & The 1985 Territory Pack

If you imported the rosters of 1985, you probably didn't want "Cyber Doom Industries" showing up two weeks later as a rival. Fixed. Plus a beefy historical pack to import.

Strict Custom Mode honors your world

When you import both a roster and a titles CSV, the engine now treats your file as the canon of the wrestling world. No procedurally-generated rival promotions appear unless you ask for them. Your 1985 looks like 1985 — Crockett, Verne, McMahon, Watts and the territories you imported, and nothing else.

…but you can still spawn rivals on demand

Open the Rivals panel and you'll find a new Generate Rival Promotion button. One click rolls a fresh competing office in your region with its own roster and champions, so you can pad out the territory whenever you want without giving up Strict Custom Mode by default.

The 1985 historical pack

Two ready-to-import CSVs, hand-built for the territory era:

  • 200-wrestler roster across 16 region-locked promotions — WWF, JCP/NWA, AWA, WCCW, Mid-South, Stampede, AJPW, NJPW, EMLL and more.
  • Specialist roles included: managers (Heenan, Cornette, Hart) and commentators (Solie, Monsoon, Ventura).
  • Future legends seeded as free agents — Sting, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley — ready to be signed before they were stars.
  • 48 historical championships with the actual July 1985 champion already in the slot.

See IMPORT-INSTRUCTIONS.md for the full CSV header spec and validation rules.

Folder tabs you can actually read

Quality-of-life fix on the brown manila folder tabs across the app — inactive tab labels are now bold pure-white for proper contrast against the kraft background.
