Promotion Tiers & The Climb
The biggest progression update yet. Your promotion now has a shape, a ceiling, and a path upward — roughly 100 shows from the smoke-filled VFW hall to global pay-per-view.
🏚️ → 🏟️ → 📺 → 🌎 — Four Tiers
Every promotion now occupies one of four tiers: Indie, Regional, National, or Global. Each tier raises your roster cap, unlocks bigger venues, and changes which sponsors, networks, and free agents will even take your call.
A new Tier panel shows your current rank, the next milestone's reputation/shows/cash/quality requirements, and a roadmap of what's ahead.
The Tier-Up Cinematic
When you cross the threshold, a celebratory dialog pops with your new rank, a tagline, and the full list of unlocks. It only fires once per advancement.
Soft stakes — rep decays, tier sticks
- Skip shows for 3+ weeks and reputation slowly bleeds — but never below your current tier's floor.
- Roster caps are enforced: signings and poaches are blocked when you're full.
- Tier-specific goals reward each promotion: "Go Regional," "Hit the National Stage," "Conquer the Globe."
The world scales with you
- Free agents tilt toward better talent as you tier up.
- Sponsors pay more — and at Indie, you mostly won't hear from them.
- Media networks are gated; the big TV deals only appear when you've earned them.
- Rivals get more aggressive at the top, sniping signings and poaching your roster.
Endgame: the Legacy dashboard
Once you reach Global, a new Legacy tab opens up: a Hall of Fame with career stats, ceremonial inductions for your aging legends, all-time records (top shows, longest reigns, career wins), and year-by-year era recaps.
